From Chef Jason Munn

In 2007 he accepted the position of Chef at Papa George’s Restaurant. At the time Papa George’s was the dining room of the Astoria Hotel.
In 2008 Patrice Fortin obtained control of the restaurant he had been manager of for nearly a decade. Patrice made sure that Chef Jason was part of the new Papa George’s Restaurant. Both Patrice and Jason share the philosophy that a successful restaurant must use local and regional ingredients.
Wild Game is just such a regional delight available to fine restaurants from several West-Central Alberta farms. Travelers already know of and appreciate world-famous Alberta beef.
An example of Chef Jason Munn’s commitment to this philosophy can be seen in the grains and beans used in the restaurant; they all come from an accredited Organic farm of Central Alberta.
